The Direct Care Alliance (DCA), in partnership with Bend the Arc and the National Domestic Workers Alliance, is sponsoring a National Day of Action on September 21 to encourage Washington policymakers to end the exclusion of home care workers from basic wage protections.
The DCA is coordinating events in Washington, DC, and elsewhere around the country to encourage legislators to “do the right thing” and support the extension of the Fair Labor Standards Act‘s minimum-wage and overtime protections to home care workers.
