The Impact of Emerging Technologies on Long-Term Care & the Health Workforce

This report addresses the knowledge gap about how technological advances will affect the size, skills, and training needs of the long-term care (LTC) workforce.The report provides a survey of available technologies currently or soon to be implemented for use by consumers and/or long-term care workers. Additionally, technologies are assessed to identify those that may facilitate, replace, or enhance recruitment, training, and retention of the long-term care workforce.
