PHI Culture Change Experts to Present at the Pioneer Network Conference
PHI’s organizational change consultants will be at the 2015 Pioneer Network Conference, which begins August 2 in Chicago.
The annual conference is the largest yearly conference dedicated to promoting the values of culture change and person-centeredness in long-term care.
PHI Organizational Change Consultant Anna Ortigara will lead a 90-minute education session on August 4 entitled “It’s About Relationships, But What Will That Take?: Changing the Equation!” The session will highlight the challenges that caregivers and consumers face in building meaningful human relationships with one another.
On the afternoon of August 5, Ortigara and PHI Organizational Change Consultant MariaElena Del Valle will lead a half-day “intensive” session called “The Glue of Change: Recognizing and Embracing Resistance.”
The three-and-a-half hour session explains that resistance to organizational change — from consumers, staff, and family members — is inevitable, and can even contribute positively to an organization’s overall culture change mission.
Dozens of other educational sessions and intensives will take place during the four-day conference.
More information is available at the Pioneer Network website.
