Democrats Defend Health Reform

Politico reports that Vicki Kennedy, the widow of Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.), and former Senator Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) will be co-chairing the board of the Health Information Center.

With a budget of $125 million, the Center will be promoting the benefits of health care reform in the months leading up to the 2010 mid-term elections.

In addition, the White House announced that President Obama and other cabinet members will be heading up events nationwide defending the reform package against Republican attacks.
