Inés Escandón is PHI’s Evaluation Specialist. She manages and implements evaluation projects on PHI’s policy and practice initiatives.
Inés has provided technical support in evaluation and research in the not-for-profit setting for more than 15 years. Prior to joining PHI, she served as a senior associate for evaluation and monitoring at an international reproductive health agency. Inés has also worked with and consulted for numerous projects at International Planned Parenthood Federation and Columbia University’s Center for Population and Family Health (now the Heilbrun Department of Population and Family Health). She is bilingual in English and Spanish and has a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University.

Malika Gujrati is PHI’s Evaluation Program Analyst. She supports the management and implementation of evaluation projects on PHI’s policy and practice initiatives.
Prior to joining PHI, Malika was a program associate with Cicatelli Associates, Inc., where she worked on grants management and provided ongoing technical assistance to a panel of grantees. She also worked as an evaluation consultant with an international humanitarian aid agency based in New York and a microfinance guarantee fund based in South Africa, and provided qualitative research support on international reproductive health projects. She received her MA in International Affairs, with a concentration in socioeconomic development, from the New School.

Marcia Mayfield is PHI’s Director of Evaluation. She is responsible for the design and management of evaluation systems and studies for PHI’s practice and policy initiatives.
Marcia has over 15 years of experience as a manager and technical advisor in program planning, monitoring, evaluation, applied research, and strategic planning to public health and social service agencies, not-for-profits, and private foundations. She was the director of evaluation and research for an international reproductive health technical assistance/service delivery organization. She also worked at a consulting firm, conducting program evaluation and policy analysis in community development, home health care, child care, health and human services. She has provided evaluation and research technical support to the New York City HIV Health and Human Services Planning Council, the Open Society Institute, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Marcia holds a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University.
